Georgia Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger announced Monday that the state has partnered with Enhanced Voting to bring the Ballot Scout tool to voters across the state.
This cutting-edge platform will provide Georgia voters with real-time updates on their absentee by mail ballots, enhancing transparency and confidence in the voting process.
Voters across the state who sign up for Ballot Scout will receive notifications about their absentee ballots, including when the county elections office marks their ballot as issued and when it is received back from the voter. This service will offer notifications via text, email, or voice call, ensuring voters are informed every step of the way.
“Ballot Scout represents a major advancement in how we manage and track ballots,” said Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger. “With this tool, voters in Georgia can stay informed and confident about their voting experience, knowing where their ballot is throughout the entire process.”
Voters who were previously enrolled in similar tracking tools will automatically transition to Ballot Scout. Additionally, in the coming days, Georgia voters will be able to enroll in Ballot Scout and check updates on their absentee by mail ballots through the Georgia My Voter Page (MVP).
This initiative supports Secretary Raffensperger’s long-term vision to enhance the security and efficiency of the election process, no matter which way a voter casts their ballot.
