The Statesboro Fire and Police Departments will host a memorial service this Sunday, September 11 at 9:00 a.m. to honor and remember the lives of those lost 21 years ago during the 9/11 terror attacks.
The service will be held in front of both departments’ headquarters on West Grady Street and will include remarks from local public safety officials and a presentation from the departments’ honor guards.
The public is invited to attend the service.
In the event of inclement weather, the service will be moved into one of the Fire Department’s truck bays.
