Pre-Kindergarten Registration for 2023-2024 will open online on Feb. 27

Bulloch County Schools’ Pre-Kindergarten Registration for the 2023-2024 school year will open online on Monday, February 27, and remain open. For complete information visit the website.

Families who would like for their child to be included in the lottery drawings for the school district’s available spaces, should complete their registration by March 17.

Evening Registration is February 27
If you need assistance or additional access to online registration tools, the school district will host an evening registration on Monday, March 13, from 4:30 p.m. – 7 p.m., in the boardroom of the William James Educational Complex (Central Office), located at 150 Williams Road, in Statesboro.

Register Online at Anytime
Pre-Kindergarten Registration is available online only in English and Spanish via any Internet-enabled device. You may also contact your zoned elementary school to schedule an appointment to use a registration kiosk at your school.

 Pre-Kindergarten Lottery Drawings
Georgia’s Pre-K program is limited to a specific number of slots at each school. For this reason, Bulloch County Schools will host virtual lottery drawings for each of its 11 Pre-K sites on Friday, March 31, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

The school district will assign students to available slots from the list of registered students. Parents of all students chosen during the lottery drawings must formally accept the enrollment. This will be done after the lottery in two ways: (1) The school district will notify parents using the contact information (phone number) provided during registration; or (2) Parents may also contact the school to accept their spot.

Eligibility for Pre-Kindergarten
Pre-Kindergarten students for the 2023-2024 school year must be four-years-old on or by September 1, 2023. Children who are five-years-old on or before Sept. 1, who have not attended a Georgia Pre-K for more than 30 days, are also eligible for Pre-K unless the parent prefers the child to go to Kindergarten.
