A now-former employee of Bulloch County EMS who was arrested after she used an ambulance to pursue a citizen in a high-speed profanity-laced chase pleaded guilty in Bulloch County State Court last week.
The incident, which included a high-speed profanity-laced chase was recorded, in part, on video, and showed White nearly strike multiple vehicles while attempting to run another vehicle off the road. Public records indicate she was angry that her adult daughter’s friend was driving her daughter’s vehicle.
Staci Tyler White was booked into the Bulloch County Jail on March 16 on charges of Reckless Driving and Failure to Exercise Due Care. Once the case made its way to the Solicitor General’s Office, the charges were amended to Reckless Driving and Distracted Driving. Read about the previous arrest here.

White called 911 to report the stolen vehicle after the pursuit. Deputy Colby Lynn arrived on scene in Brooklet to take her statement. White told Lynn she wanted to report the vehicle as ‘stolen,’ but concedes she knows there’s nothing that can be done because her daughter, who is also on the vehicle title, gave the man permission to drive the vehicle.
Lynn: “Even though you’re the primary on it, she would have to say that he hasn’t been able to drive it. If she’s been letting him drive it here recently, I can’t get him for stolen vehicle on it.”
White: “I’m gonna kill her. I’m gonna f*cking kill both of them,” she says before pointing to the body camera and asking, “Is that on?”
Later, White told Lynn that her daughter ‘is a dumbass,’ and she ‘just wants attention’ before explaining that he should have pulled over for her. “I’m gonna do everything I can to lock your ass up,” she recounted to Lynn.
She later says, “I know you [BCSO] can’t do anything.”
Statement to BCSO by the Man She Pursued
After speaking with White, Deputy Colby Lynn contacted the victim to obtain his statement. The man detailed the description of the passenger in the ambulance, what White was wearing, and that her hair was in pig tails. Upon the recounting of events, Deputy Lynn stated that he was going to go ahead and make a report and speak with his supervisor about the best way to move forward.
The man explains that he doesn’t want White to get in trouble but he was concerned since she said she was going to report the vehicle as ‘stolen.’ The deputy assured him that he would not be in trouble since he had permission to drive the car.

According to public court documents, White appeared in Bulloch County State Court on April 18 for her arraignment, at which time she entered a guilty plea for both charges. She was not represented by an attorney.
Judge Joseph Cushner subsequently sentenced her to the following:
Reckless Driving
- 12 months probation
- 48 hours in jail with a delayed report time of Friday, April 21 at 5:00 p.m.
- 80 hours of community service
- $700 fine + any add-on fees
- a defensive driving course
- an anger management course
- a mental health evaluation
- a ‘stay away’ order from the man she pursued in the ambulance
Distracted Driving
12 months probation – concurrent to the Reckless Driving charge
- $50 fine
