The Downtown Statesboro Development Authority is gearing up to host Fiesta de Mayo, a F1RST Friday event on May 5 from 5:30 pm to 8 pm.
Fiesta de Mayo is a celebration of Latin culture in the heart of downtown Statesboro. These First Friday events provide a space for the community to gather and celebrate. Not only do they promote the development of local shops and restaurants, but they also help Statesboro share its history.
“This is the perfect opportunity for Statesboro to celebrate different cultures and bring our community together,” said Allen Muldrew, Executive Director for the Downtown Statesboro Development Authority. “It’s going to be a fun night that you don’t want to miss!”
DJ Randy will provide a variety of spanish music throughout the night. There is more than just fun music, though! Some of your favorite downtown businesses and vendors will be open to provide a great shopping experience for any and everyone. This is the perfect opportunity to get a Mother’s Day gift. There will also be a Party Harbor bouncy house so children can play with parental supervision.
