Mr. Kyle Blakely “Blake” Collins, age 33, died on Sunday November 5th at his home in Statesboro. Blake was born on March 17th 1990 in Mobile, AL to Phillip K. Collins and Lisa Robbins Thompson. He attended T.R. Miller High School in Brewton, AL and graduated in 2009.
Blake worked for Briggs & Stratton as a maintenance technician. He was a car enthusiast and enjoyed painting and restoring cars, he also liked fishing and being outside, spending time with his family and friends.
Blake is survived by his mother, Lisa L. Thompson, his father, Phillip K. Collins, his fiancé, Taylor Mock, his uncles, Lewis “Robbie” Robbins and Tim Collins, his aunts, Dawn Sweat, and Dina Collins, and his nieces, Taylor Arata and Natalie Mullen.
The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 10:00am until 11:00am at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. A memorial service will be held at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Ricky Allen officiating.
