Mrs. Linda Darnell Stewart Fordham

Linda Darnell Stewart Fordham, 77, passed away at home on the Fordham farm on Friday, March 15, 2024 after a long illness. She was under the care of Ogeechee Area Hospice.

Linda was born January 6, 1947 in Bulloch County, Georgia to Fred Walker Stewart and Willie Maude Cowart. She graduated from Southeast Bulloch High School in 1965 and was a member of Nevils Trinity Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Clisby Allen Fordham, and her granddaughter, Hannah Jane Fordham.

Surviving are her brother, Clark Futch; a daughter, Traci (Billy) Bowen, and a son, Allen (Suzy) Fordham, all of Brooklet, Georgia; Grandchildren, Whitney (Bill) Lacey, Seth (Katy) Waters, Alex (Jessica) Fordham, Haley (Jacob) Conley, Annie Bowen (Carter Farley, fiancée), Walker (Stephanie) Fordham; and her great grandchildren, Case, Atticus, Norah, Gracie and Apollo and Baby Conley expected in September 2024.
Visitation will be on Tuesday, March 19, 2024 at Trinity Baptist Church from 10:00am until 11:00am, followed by a service at 11:00am, with Pastor Bob Creech officiating.

Interment will be at Upper Black Creek Church Cemetery, Mud Road, Brooklet, Georgia.
Pallbearers will be Clark Futch, Seth Waters, Alex Fordham, Walker Fordham, Jacob Conley, and Carter Farley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, P. O .Box 531, Statesboro, Georgia 30459.
