The final campaign finance reports for the May 21 primary election were recently filed with the Bulloch County Board of Elections. The data provides insight into the races in terms of campaign donations and expenditures.
In this article, The Georgia Virtue examines those items as well as the money spent per vote and a breakdown of expenditure type.
The information below is combined from the April 30, 2024 reporting paperwork and the June 30, 2024 reporting paperwork. Candidates complete their own campaign finance paperwork and submit the information to the Board of Elections.
Highlights
- Brown outraised Howard by a margin of 10-1
- Brown outspent Howard by 7-1.
- 77.8% of Brown’s spending was on advertising & ‘advertising products’
