The annual Fourth of July celebration in Statesboro is expected to go on as usual this year.
As COVID-19 numbers across the state continue to improve, the Statesboro Firecracker Festival organizers have no intention of canceling the open-air gathering. The Statesboro-Bulloch County Parks & Recreation Department recently published the event schedule on their official website.
This year’s festival will take place on July 3.
Mill Creek Park is expected to host patrons for the celebration with activities for kids, a full fireworks display, and live music by Sweetwater Junction as well.
