U.S. Senator Jon Ossoff will serve on the powerful U.S. Senate Committee on Appropriations in the 119th Congress — positioning him to what he says will “continue delivering for Georgia.”

Ossoff says the appointment to the Appropriations Committee will “enable him to shape Federal budgets to deliver for the people of Georgia.”

Sen. Ossoff will continue to serve on the U.S. Senate Intelligence Committee, where he will continue working to strengthen military, intelligence, and law enforcement facilities in Georgia and sustain his focus on strengthening U.S. national security and bipartisan Congressional oversight.

“I look forward to serving on the Senate Appropriations Committee in the new Congress, where I will continue working across the aisle to deliver for Georgia,” Sen. Ossoff said. “On the Intelligence Committee, I will continue to focus on strengthening U.S. national security and leading effective bipartisan Congressional oversight.”

Sen. Ossoff will also continue to serve on the Senate Rules Committee.
