Heather Emory Receives the Commissioner’s Public Safety Award

On Tuesday February 23, 2021 Heather Emory, who supervises the Georgia Crime Information Center (GCIC) Division at the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office, was awarded the Paulding County Board of Commissioner’s Public Safety Award. Mrs. Emory was awarded the Commissioner’s Public Safety Award for her exemplary service to the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. Mrs. Emory has been employed with the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office for nearly four years.

In addition to her exemplary service, Mrs. Emory has diligently worked to coordinate several GCIC projects with municipalities in the county. She is the supervisor over our GCIC Division and is also the Terminal Agency Coordinator (TAC). As the TAC, she is responsible for overseeing all of the GCIC Operators and making sure all of our staff maintains their GCIC certifications. Furthermore, she is responsible for making sure everything is in order for the annual audit the Georgia Bureau of Investigation (GBI) conducts on our GCIC Division every year. Sheriff Gulledge remarked, “Heather is very dependable and always has a willingness to be a team player. She is definitely one of the best. We are extremely proud of the job that she does for the Sheriff’s Office and the citizens of Paulding County.”

Mrs. Emory was presented with a Certificate of Appreciation from the Board of Commissioner’s along with a “Dinner for Two” Gift Card from Texas Roadhouse. Congratulations to Mrs. Emory and thank you to Texas Roadhouse for the generous donation of the gift card!
