Voter Turnout in Southeast Georgia Trends Below State Records in Early Voting

While Georgia saw record-breaking early voting numbers statewide with 55.3% turnout, some counties reported well below that percentage.

Towns County topped the list with 72.10% turnout with Oconee trailing just behind at 70.55% and Dawson, Forsyth, and Rabun counties all at 68%.

Chattahoochee County reported the lowest turnout with 32.0% turnout, followed by Dougherty County with 35.83% turnout.

In Southeast Georgia, several counties in the region reported turnout that did not match state trends, some teetering around 40%.
