Brannen Recognized as EGRMC Employee of the Month

From East Georgia Regional Medical Center this week:

Congratulations to our EGRMC June 2024 Employee of the Month, engineer, Allen Brannen. Allen Brannen has been part of the team at EGRMC for over seven years.

Allen was nominated by his colleagues for his dedication, responsiveness and commitment to providing quality service and his positive attitude while supporting his fellow plant operations team members.

Allen’s supervisor, Director Mike Motes, states that, ”Allen is an exemplary employee; with a fairly new staff, Allen has stepped up in leadership in the last few years and has become my number two team member. He has a sense of ownership of the building and makes our safety and efficiency top priority. He takes calls often and is always just a phone call away for any of his teammates when they need help. He doesn’t hesitate to come in even when he is not on call. I can always rely on him to be available in a bind. During the absence of our secretary, he has owned taking on that responsibility and has done so well. He strives to learn all aspects of his duties and my supervisor responsibilities so he can fill in for me when I take off.”

“He jumps in to do whatever he is asked to do no matter how miniscule, whether it’s unclogging a toilet, moving furniture, helping an employee with a flat tire, or just needing his muscles! He always has a great attitude and is responsive to anyone who calls him. Plant Operations could not function without his expertise, enthusiasm, and sense of ownership. He cares about this building and the people in it,” states EGRMC leadership.

“Allen is an invaluable member of our team,” says EGRMC CEO, Stephen Pennington. “He exemplifies our mission by consistently supporting our staff and ensuring we deliver quality healthcare in an efficient, safe, and compassionate environment to every patient, every time, always.”
