EGRMC recently announced the most recent employee of the month in a press release.
Congrats to our EGRMC May 2024 Employee of the Month, Accountant, Di Hu. Di has been part of the finance team at EGRMC for over five years.
Di was nominated by her colleagues for her great attitude, dedication, responsiveness and commitment to providing quality service and her positive attitude while supporting her fellow finance department and hospital leadership team members.
A nominator describes Di as, “a-hard worker, always willing to help those in her department as well as other employees with respect. One of her duties is preparation of the hospital and clinic payroll. She comes in early and reviews employee time and incentives to assure accurate pay for every employee. If there is an error on an employee check, she strives to get them paid and is compassionate in dealing with the employee. Another one of Di’s duties is to assure the Financial Statements of the hospital are accurately stated. She works very hard to assure she completes journal entries and reconciliation in a timely manner. She meets all her deadlines and usually finishes early.”
Others added that, “She is always willing to take on extra duties. She definitely has a sense of ownership in all she does. Di is a great example of what we want an EGRMC employee to be.”
Jill Boykin, Finance Controller, stated, “I greatly appreciate Di Hu. She is always willing to do what it takes to get the job done. She is always positive and smiling. She is a joy to have in the department.”
“Di is an indispensable member of our team,” EGRMC CEO, Stephen Pennington adds “She has dedicated her time and energy to East Georgia, embodying our mission to provide quality healthcare services and a safe, compassionate environment to every patient, every time, always.”
