Muldrew, Brannen Crowned at Miss Sunbelt Expo Rodeo Pageant

Two Bulloch Countians represented us well this past weekend in Colquitt County.

Kate Muldrew & Sawyer Kate Brannen, both natives to Bulloch County competed in the 2021 Miss Sunbelt Expo Rodeo Pageant in Moultrie, GA. Kate was crowned 2021 Princess Miss Sunbelt Rodeo and Sawyer Kate was Tiny Miss Sunbelt Rodeo.

The two, along with other winners, will help promote a positive image and awareness of the importance that the equine industry plays in the state of Georgia. These queens will form a connection between loyal horse owners and enthusiasts, the media and the general public’s perception of horse events such as rodeos, horse shows and other equine events.

Kate claimed her title with her horse, Riley, and Sawyer Kate showcased with her horse, Bella.

Both represented Bulloch County extremely well in the pageant and will return to Moultrie in October to represent their title at the 2021 Sunbelt Ag Expo.

The pageant is supported by the Sunbelt Ag Expo and has sent four previous winners to the Miss Rodeo USA Pageant, one time claiming a national crown. In 2017, Miss Sunbelt Expo Rodeo Queen Brittany Howard was crowned Miss Rodeo USA.
