This is an announcement from the Statesboro Food Bank.
The Food Bank, Inc. is excited to announce the relocation of its pantry to the new Joe Bill Brannon Pantry at 506 Miller St. While the public area of the new facility remains under construction, the Meal Box service will continue at our current location (1547 Morgan Way) through Friday, June 28.
We will resume services at the new pantry on Monday, July 1.
Moving efforts will be ongoing throughout this week, and we welcome volunteers to assist with the transition. If you have teenagers looking for a productive way to spend their time or if you would like to volunteer, please contact us at 912-386-1462.
We extend our heartfelt gratitude to everyone who has provided manpower and support during this move. Your contributions have been invaluable.
The operating hours at the Joe Bill Brannon Pantry will remain 9 AM to 4 PM, Monday through Friday, throughout July. In August, we plan to expand our hours to include once after 5pm hours and some Saturday hours to increase accessibility. The new hours will be announced soon./
