1 Man Shot, Arrested During Domestic Incident in Bulloch County

One man was shot and later arrested following a domestic dispute in Bulloch County on Tuesday.

The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office says deputies, investigators, and K-9 units responded to a domestic dispute on Highway 80 involving several subjects. Upon arrival, authorities determined that 48-year-old Michael William Sutton was the primary aggressor in the incident. He also sustained a gunshot wound and fled the scene.

K-9 Units were deployed and Sutton was apprehended a short time later, according to BCSO. He was taken into custody and transported to the hospital for treatment. He will be booked into the Bulloch County Jail upon his release from medical care.

No other suspects are at large. Investigation into the case is on going with criminal charges to be filed accordingly. The other two subjects involved are victims of the domestic dispute and sustained minor injuries. Based on the laws of the State of Georgia, due to one of the victims being over 65 years of age, a felony charge of Elder Abuse will be issued against Sutton.
