Nine people were arrested Monday on a number of weapons and drugs charges in the city limits of Statesboro.
The Bulloch County Sheriff’s Office says its Crime Suppression Team was advised by the Georgia Bureau of Investigation on April 8 that Rakeil Lanier had active warrants through their agency for trafficking methamphetamine and other charges. Information was provided that Lanier may be located at 223 Johnson Street in Statesboro. CST Investigators, along with K-9 units, responded to 223 Johnson Street, which is in the city limits of Statesboro, in attempt to locate Lanier.
Upon arrival, the agency says K-9 made contact with numerous armed males in the back yard of the residence. As Investigators approached the front of the residence, the armed males attempted to flee out of the front door. All were detained and a number of loaded firearms were recovered “along with cocaine, pills and 15 pounds of marijuana.”
The following individuals were arrested:
Isaiah Stovall was charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies (3Counts)
- Possession of a drug related object
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
- Possession of a firearm by a underage person (3 counts)
Fayeon Dunning was charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of a Firearm During the Commission of Certain Felonies (4 counts)
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribure
- Possession of a drug related object
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
- Possession of a firearm by an underage person (4 counts)
Rodriggas Scott was charged with the following offenses:
- Obstruction
- Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of firearm by a convicted felon (4 counts)
- Possession of cocaine with intent to distribute (2 counts)
- Possession of a drug related object
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (4 counts)
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
- Possession of cocaine within 1,000 feet of a park
Tyrik Holly was charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (4 counts)
- Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of drug related object
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
Demarco Eason was charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (3 counts)
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of a drug related object
- Probation Violation (Robbery)
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon (3 counts)
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
Damarien Hamilton was charged with the following offenses:
- Theft by receiving firearm
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (4 counts)
- Trafficking Marijuana
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of a drug related object
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
Rakeil Lanier was charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking marijauana
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of a drug related object
- Possession of a firearm by a convicted felon
- Theft by receiving stolen property
- Obstuction
- Possession of Marijuana with intent to distribute
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (4 counts)
- Possession of tools for the commission of a crime
- Trafficking methamphetamine
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
Jermel Lanier was charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking Marijauna
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of a drug related object
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (3 counts)
- Possession of a schedule II with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
Juvenile Male was charged with the following offenses:
- Trafficking Marijauana
- Theft by receiving stolen firearm
- Possession of a firearm during the commission of a crime (3 counts)
- Possession of Cocaine with intent to distribute
- Possession of a drug related object
- Possession of a firearm by an underage person (3 counts)
- Possession of a schedule II drug with intent to distribute (Oxycodone)
Sheriff Brown, in a press released, thanked all of the agencies who responded to assist in these arrest and gave a special thanks to Bulloch County Dispatchers who were able quickly dispatch extra units to what became a volatile situation.
