The Glennville man wanted by the Statesboro Police Department in connection with a double homicide at the Days Inn last week is now in custody.
Jail records show 20-year-old Kentaevious Raeshon Davis was booked into the Bulloch County jail on Wednesday evening around 7:45 p.m.
Davis was wanted on two counts of Murder and two counts of Aggravated Assault after two individuals were found deceased as the hotel on Fair Road last Thursday. Police identified Davis on Friday, but authorities said they believed he’d left the area and he subsequently remained at large until Wednesday evening.
UPDATE: The Statesboro Police Department said Thursday morning that investigators with the U.S. Marshals Service Southeast Regional Fugitive Task Force located Davis at a residence in Tattnall County. They arrested him there. Additionally, SPD detectives traveled to Tattnall County to serve search warrants for evidence and, with the help of the Tattnall County Sheriff’s Office, executed those warrants.
Davis will remain in the Bulloch County Jail, pending further court action.
