SPD Arrests Woman After She Reportedly Stabbed Her Boyfriend

The Statesboro Police Department has arrested a woman they say stabbed her boyfriend in an apartment on East Main Street.

SPD says officers responded to Hillcrest Apartments on December 15, 2021 around 2:00 P.M.. Upon arriving to the 500 block of East Main Street, officers located a male stabbed with a wound to his back.

The 23-year-old male was taken to East Georgia Regional Medical Center for treatment and was later released.

Detectives responded and processed the scene as well, leading them to take out a search warrant for the victim’s girlfriend, 24-year-old Destiney McMillan. The 25-year-old female was identified as the offender and arrested a short time later.

She was transported to the Bulloch County Jail on one count of Aggravated Assault (Family Violence).
