By Wednesday morning, Elsa is forecast to move through northern Florida and through eastern and southern portions of Georgia throughout the day on Wednesday.
How strong Elsa will be when it does so, and the exact eventual track, is still highly uncertain. At this time and along this forecast track, potential impacts to Georgia could include 2-4 inches of rainfall, tropical storm force winds of 40 mph or greater, and maybe a brief tornado or two. Again, there is still a high amount of uncertainty about the exact values and locations of these impacts, but the timing for them to occur in Georgia looks to be Wednesday.
Please continue to monitor this storm.
