Celebrate: Together, a festival celebrating the Georgia Southern community at the Armstrong Campus, is back this year on October 24, 11 a.m. – 3 p.m., in the Residential Plaza.
Celebrate: Together brings together students, faculty, staff, alumni, and the community at large. The event features a festival of departmental and student organizations, as well as fun extras. This year visitors can expect more than 100 booths and attractions that include a bucket dump, rock wall, archery tag, mechanical bull, booth decorating contest and live DJ. Free hot dogs and drinks will be available for all guests and free t-shirts will be available for students and alumni while supplies last.
“Celebrate: Together has been an Armstrong Campus tradition for decades, and we are so excited to host this event again in 2024,” said Carson Myrick, Celebrate: Together committee chair. “We celebrate our students, campus departments, University and community by bringing everyone together for this vibrant event every fall. It’s a day set aside to connect with one another and enjoy larger-than-life activities. With so much to see and do together, it’s always an unforgettable experience.”
The event is free and open to the public. For more information on this year’s festival please visit, https://academics.georgiasouthern.edu/celebrate-together/
