SEB High’s one-act play cast wins multiple region honors; Public performance is Nov. 27

Southeast Bulloch High School’s one-act play cast won multiple honors at the Class 3-AAAA Region Championship on October 26, including First Runner-up for Best Play, Best Supporting Actress, and All-Star Cast.

The troupe will now host a public performance of the play entitled, “Then Ways to Survive the Zombie Apocalypse,” on Monday, Nov. 27, at 7 p.m., in the school’s auditorium. The short comedy by Don Zolidis is sure to entertain.

The plot depicts an end-of-the-world scene with hordes of rampaging zombies. What would one do? Luckily, there’s a handy, step-by-step, hilarious guide to survival. 

Come see the region’s Best Supporting Actress Award winner Geonna Lawrence and All-Star Cast honorees Ella Rodriguez, Logan Major, and Courtney (Kai) Davis, plus the rest of the cast as they escape the pending apocalypse one laugh at a time. General admission tickets are available for purchase at the door for $5 each with a payment by cash or check only.

The school’s drama students will return to the stage on Friday, Dec. 1, to perform, “Snow Queen,” an adaptation of a Hans Christian Andersen story that’s full of treasures for the unpacking and perfect for the holiday season. 
Kai and Gerda are the best of friends until a piece of an enchanted mirror finds its way into Kai’s eye, causing him to see the world in a cold-hearted way. Gerda must go on an adventure to rescue her friend before his heart is completely frozen. Young Kai 

is snatched from his home by the Snow Queen, and his best friend, Gerda, sets out on an epic journey to rescue him. Can Gerda and her friends reach the Snow Queen’s palace in time to release Kai from his icy prison and melt his frozen heart?General admission tickets will be available for purchase at the door on the day of the performance for $5 each with a payment by cash or check only.
