The Statesboro Family YMCA will host the 5th Annual Trunk or Treat on Saturday, October 26th 4 pm – 6 pm. Local businesses and organizations will host trunks to hand out candies and goodies. Costumes are optional but encouraged.
The Trunk or Treat event is designed to provide community members with a safe alternative to door-to- door trick or treatment. “I love this event, it is so great to see all of the amazing families and see the smiles on the kids’ faces,” said Hannah Beggs, Executive Branch Director. “Last year we had 32 community organizations decorate their trunks and provide candy to over 1000 kids. I am looking forward to the overwhelming community support again this year”
