Bulloch Co. Chairman, Statesboro Mayor Sign Emergency Declarations Ahead of Winter Storm Enzo

Both the Bulloch County Commission Chairman and Mayor of Statesboro signed emergency declarations Monday ahead of winter storm Enzo moving into the region Tuesday.

Bulloch County Emergency Declaration – allows the county to prohibit overcharging for certain goods and services and allows for the suspension of certain county ordinances
City of Statesboro Emergency Declaration – allows the city to waive fees, prohibit overcharging for certain goods, and institute a curfew

Both declarations are effective as of Monday, January 20, 2025 at 5:00 p.m. and are set to expire on Friday, January 24, 2025 at 5:00 p.m.
