Bulloch Co. Election Superintendent Resigns

The Bulloch County Election Superintendent has resigned from her position.

Pat Lanier Jones submitted a letter to county manager Tom Couch and the Bulloch County Board of Commissioners in a letter dated April 13, 2021.

In her letter, Jones said she had been weighing the decision for nearly 18 months and sought to continue working for the county, just not as the chief elections officer.

Jones will continue to work in her capacity through June 30, 2021 and promised a smooth transition for the next person who takes over the post.

Jones was appointed to serve as the Election Supervisor of Bulloch County in January 2010.
