Approval of Zoning Agenda
Douglas Keith Dixon submitted an application to rezone 13.81 acres from AG-5 (Agricultural 5 acres) to GC (General Commercial) for a recreational vehicle park and campground. The property is located at 2240 Mill Branch Club Road.

Public Comments –
A citizen said he would like to see the county look into a countywide tornado alert system in light of the recent storms. He said he uses the CODEred system on his phone, but it was 4 minutes later than all of the other alerts.
Consent Agenda – Approved as a single line item. Approved unanimously.

- Authorize the rotational appointment of Commissioner Rushing as Vice-Chairman for calendar year 2022.
- Resolution to Fix and Publish Qualifying Fees for County Elected Offices
- O.C.G.A. § 21-2-131 requires the Board of Commissioners as governing authority to fix and publish qualifying fees for those county offices up for election in 2022 on or before February 1. This statute also mandates a formula to determine the qualifying fee, which is 3% of gross compensation or the minimum statutory salary depending upon the particular office. The resolution fixes qualifying fees in accordance with the statutory formula.

- To grant a 2022 alcoholic beverage renewal license for package retail beer and wine sales and pouring sales (beer/wine/liquor) to certain establishments with a current 2021 license

- Motion to approve the ARP Act Contract for the Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport
- The Statesboro-Bulloch County Airport was awarded $59,000 for the ARPA grant. Approval of this contract allows the county to accept the funds.

New Business
- To authorize a resolution in support of reform to Georgia’s Annexation Dispute Resolution Law
- The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners is urging the Georgia General Assembly to follow the recommendations of the 2021 House Study Committee on Annexation and adopt meaningful reforms to the Georgia’s annexation dispute resolution law during the 2022 legislative Session.
