Yawn Appointed to Bulloch County Board of Elections, 2 Others Reappointed

The Bulloch County Board of Commissioners voted Tuesday to reappoint two individuals serving on the Board of Elections and appoint a third to fill the unexpired term of a departing member.

The current terms of Hadley Campbell and Theresa Jackson on the Bulloch County Board of Elections and Registration end on December 31, 2021. Both Mr. Campbell and Ms. Jackson have agreed to be reappointed for another four-year term beginning on January 1, 2022 and ending on December 31,2025.

The current term of Jill Boykin on the Board of Elections expires on December 31, 2023; however, Ms. Boykin has already submitted her resignation from the Board of Elections effective December 31, 2021.

Jeff Yawn has agreed to serve the remainder of Ms. Boykin’s unexpired term beginning on January 1, 2022 and ending on December 2023. Yawn is a former Statesboro City Councilman and currently works at Georgia Southern University.
