A Bulloch County Grand Jury recently indicted four individuals on contraband charges for an incident at the Bulloch County Correctional Institute.
Robert Austin Jones, an inmate at Bulloch County Correctional Institute, and three others, all charged with Furnishing Prohibited Items to Inmates, were indicted by a Bulloch County grand jury. The indictment was published in open court last week

Also charged were Gregory Shane Grinstead of East Dublin, Kirk Thomas Hendrix of Claxton, and Angie Beasley Hendrix of Claxton. The indictment alleges that they furnished the prohibited items, that being tobacco, some time between April 22, 2024 and May 2, 2024 to Robert Jones without the authorization of BCCI Warden Robert Toole.
Jones faces an additional one to five years in prison, if convicted.

As of Monday, June 10, none of the defendants other than Jones are behind bars.
