Bulloch Elections Office Sees Record Breaking Turnout for Runoff

The Elections & Registration Office had a record breaking first day of voters in a runoff election, county officials say.

The office saw 1,736 people on Monday, November 28–the first day of advanced in-person voting for the Runoff election for the Georgia Senate seat. County officials say Elections Supervisor Shontay Jones reported that the office has never voted this amount of people in a single day for as long as Bulloch County has offered advance in-person voting.

Advanced voting will continue through Friday, December 2 from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. at the Elections & Registration Office located at 113 North Main Street. This is the only location for early voting.

Additionally, only individuals who cast a ballot on November 8th are eligible to vote in the runoff election.

Election Day for the General Election Runoff is Tuesday, December 6, 2022. Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. until 7:00 p.m.
