SEGA Weekly Traffic Interruption Advisory – Sept 4-10, 2021

Georgia DOT continues essential road work throughout Southeast Georgia.  As a result, work on construction and maintenance projects will continue Saturday, September 4 through Friday, September 10. 
 
Holiday work restrictions will be in place on interstates and major State Routes began today at 12 p.m. until 5 a.m., Tuesday, September 7. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic will be conducted during this timeframe.
 
All work subject to change due to weather or other factors. Motorists are cautioned to reduce their speed while traveling thru work zones, pay attention and watch for workers. 
 
Traffic interruptions are listed below by interstates, categories, and counties. 
 
 Interstate 16 Interruptions 
 
SR67 to I-95                       Bulloch, Bryan, Effingham and Chatham Counties 
Lane closures for pavement markings 
Tuesday, September 7 and Friday September 10 
From Milepost 126 to 142, 6am to 7pm & 7pm to 6am 
 
I-16 Exits 143, 137, 132, 127, 152  
Ramp closure for pavement markings 
Nightly 7 p.m. until 6 a.m. (one ramp closure at a time)
Fully signed detours installed nightly 
Detour: proceed to next exit, cross over interchange,  
            opposite direction on I-16, for interchange access 
 
 
Bridge & Road Closures with Detours 
 
Olive Branch Road (CR 12) over I-16                            Bryan County
