Statesboro VA Clinic To Host COVID-19 Vax Event

The VA Clinic in Statesboro will hold a COVID-19 vaccination event on Wednesday for all veterans.

The Ray Hendrix VA Clinic in Statesboro, which is part of the Augusta VA Healthcare System, will run the event from 8:00 A.M to 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday, May 5. The clinic is open to all veterans, even those who are not registered for VA healthcare with the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs. Spouses and caregivers are also eligible to obtain a vaccine on Wednesday.

The Johnson & Johnson single dose vaccine is the available vaccine for Wednesday’s clinic.

Organizers are asking anyone interested in the event to register for an appointment by calling the August VA Healthcare System appointment line at 706-733-0188. Callers may attempt the following line extensions: 7667, 7790, 3613, 3635, 3634, and 7770.

The Statesboro VA Clinic is located at 658 Northside Dr. East, Suite B, in Statesboro.

The Augusta VA Healthcare System touts that officials have vaccinated more than 16,000 veterans in Georgia and South Carolina and 2,800 of their own employees.
