Anna Marie Soles, age 71, passed away on December 30, 2023, at East Georgia Medical Center-Bulloch, with family by her side. Anna was born on May 9, 1952, to James & Virginia Howell in West Virginia. Anna attended Crossroads Community Church. She loved spending time with her family, especially when playing cards or Yahtzee. She had an amazing sense of humor and although she was a small woman, she had a big personality and loved everyone she met as if they were her own. Anna was a hard worker and always worked to improve herself and those around her. In 1997, while raising children and working, she received her GED at Ogeechee Technical College. She worked for over 20 years at Royden Wear and finished her working career at Briggs & Stratton.
In addition to her parents, James & Virginia Howell, Anna was preceded in death by four brothers, and one sister.
Those who will cherish her memory include her daughters and sons-in-law, Michele & Tracy Miller, Jamie & Jeff McCarty; son and daughter-in-law, Jason & Nicci Soles; special daughter, Sarah & Terry O’Banion; grandchildren, Neally Alderman & Zack Phillips, Raegan & Isaiah Henry, Trace McCarty, Payton Soles, Taylor & Dave Cannon, Meri Jo Soles, Jordan & Josie Cowart, Ty & Kathryn Cowart; great-grandchildren, Rowan Henry, Ella Cowart, Delilah Soles, Michael Cannon, and Maverick Henry who is due to arrive any day; one brother, Jimmy; four sisters, Kathy, Ruthie, Audrey and Tammy; numerous nieces, nephews, special friends, and her furry child, Lucy.
A gathering of friends and family will take place on Wednesday, January 3, 2024, from 3:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Deal Funeral Directors.
