Hinesville, Georgia Roy “Ray” Huff, Jr., departed this Saturday, December 30, 2023, at his residence. He was the son of the late W.L. Huff and Beatrice Key Huff. Mr. Huff was educated in the public schools of Bulloch County and was a graduate of Portal High School. He served his country in the United States Army where he received numerous awards and recognitions. “Ray” was employed by Domino’s Pizza as an assistant store manager and a member of the Pentecostal Church of God. In addition to his father, he is preceded in death by his wife, Carrie Perkins Huff, brothers, Robert and Freddie Huff, his maternal and paternal grandparents, and other relatives. He leaves to cherish fond memories, a son, Brian Cristopher Huff, Hinesville, GA; his mother, Beatrice Huff, Portal, GA; Brothers, Bishop Frankie (Evonne) Key, Atlanta, GA, Howard (Elaine) Huff, Statesboro, GA, and Charles (Resa) Huff, of Tallahassee, Fla; sisters, Patricia Huff, Atlanta, GA; Connie Ellison and Ruth Smith, both of Statesboro, GA; brothers-in-law, Terry (Michelle) Perkins, Ft. Walton Beach, Fla. And Wayne Smith of Pembroke, GA; a sister-in-law, Doris (Robert) Hodges, Statesboro, GA; a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends A walk-through viewing for Mr. Huff, will be held Friday, January 5, 2024, from 4 pm to 7 pm, at Hill’s Mortuary, Inc. A graveside service and burial for Mr. Roy Huff, will be held at 11 am, Saturday, January 6, 2024, at the Piney Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery with Evangelist Donnell Harden, officiating.
