Mrs. Delores Olliff Taylor

Mrs. Delores Taylor, age 78, died on Tuesday, January 9 2024 at Ogeechee Area Hospice surrounded by her loved ones. Delores Taylor was born in Bulloch County on July 7 1945 to the late Thomas Lamar Olliff and Mrs. Anna Jincie Kennedy Olliff. She was raised in Statesboro and was a graduate of Statesboro High School. She was homemaker to her loving husband of 30 years. Delores enjoyed the beach, live music, playing with kids, spending time with her best friend, and traveling with her daughter. She was preceded in death by her husband, Cary Lavonne Taylor, well as four brothers, Greg Olliff, David Olliff, Terrell Olliff, and Thomas Olliff, and two sisters, DeRita Smith and Cindy Harville. She is survived by her two children Courtney Taylor and Phil Olliff, her siblings, Renaee (Jerry) Rushing, Kevin Olliff, and Karen Iler (Micheal) as well as many nieces and nephews. The family will receive visitors on Thursday from 5:00pm until 7:00pm at Joiner-Anderson Funeral Home in Statesboro. The funeral will be held on Friday at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Nick Spletstoser officiating. Interment will be at Guyton Cemetery. The family requests that any memorial contributions be made to Ogeechee Area Hospice, PO Box 531, Statesboro, GA 30459.
