Diana Deyo Robinson passed away on Thursday, February 15, 2024. Her legacy will continue through the lives of her family and those she has influenced through sharing the love of Jesus. Diana was a lifelong member of the Sylvania First United Methodist Church. During her membership she taught the Nell Pace Sunday School class where she shared her love of the Lord with others through her teaching. Diana also loved her precious pets, reading her Bible, gardening, the beach, and watching her grandchildren grow up. She was a graduate of Screven County High School, attended Georgia Southern College, was a parapro at Arnett Kindergarten, but her most important job of all was being a Mimi to her grandchildren. Diana was a member of the Sylvania Junior Women’s Club, Screven County Farm Bureau, and the Screven County Garden Club.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Edmund B. and Dorothy Mock Deyo; an infant daughter, daughter, Danielle Robinson Lariscy, great-grandson, Noah von Waldner, and brother, Ed Deyo, Jr.
She is survived by the love of her life, A.W. Robinson, III; daughter and son-in-law, Darlette and Anthony Perkins; grandchildren, Lauryn (Rocky) Scott, Joseph Patrick Bowen, III, Molly Evan (Derek) von Waldner, Mason Lariscy, Russell Waters, Savannah Lariscy, all of Sylvania, Katie and Brendan Reed of Grovetown; great-grandchildren, Ian Scott, Ally Freeman, Evan von Waldner, Emma von Waldner, Eli Lariscy, Bryson Reed, and Luke Reed; sisters-in-law and brothers-in-law, Bunie Deyo of Cary, NC, Eva Ray and Tom Thornton of Jacksonville, FL, Mary Ann Potter of Auburn, AL, and Marty and Sara Robinson of Andalusia, AL; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2024 at 2:00pm at the First United Methodist Church of Sylvania with Rev. Dorsia Atkinson officiating. The family will receive friends for visitation at the cemetery following burial.
Interment will follow at Screven County Memorial Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be Anthony Perkins, Patrick Bowen III, Russell Waters, Rocky Scott, Derek von Waldner, and Guy Greene.
Honorary pallbearers will be the Nell Pace Sunday School Class and employees of PineView Health and Rehabilitation.
