Rome High Hosts Senior Sunrise Breakfast in Celebration of Class of 2021

Beginning on Monday, April 19 through Friday, April 23, Rome High School celebrated their seniors with a designated Senior Week filled with lots of activities aimed at honoring Rome’s class of 2021.

To cap out this fun-filled week, Rome High teacher, Madison Mincey, created Senior Sunrise, a new event that recognizes Rome High seniors for all of their achievements.

“I started looking online for different ways to honor and recognize the seniors when I came across the idea of hosting a Senior Sunrise breakfast,” explained Mincey. “I just thought, what better way to end Senior Week than with a special breakfast?”

Mincey continued, “We really wanted to just encourage the students, because I know this year has been especially difficult. This was just a small way to honor and encourage every senior as they wrap up their high school experience with us here at RHS.”

Students could be found enjoying coffee and hot chocolate, munching on yummy donuts and hot biscuits, as well as chatting with friends and enjoying a fun game of cornhole.
