The community stepped up this week to provide a police officer with a Christmas bonus after the city by whom he is employed voted to give everyone but him a Christmas bonus.  The Guyton City Council voted last Tuesday night to provide a $500 Christmas bonus to every city employee, including police department employees, with the exception of those who had submitted resignation letters.
