Fire Rescue Personnel Recognized

Three members of Camden County Fire Rescue have been recognized for their excellent service to the organization and to the citizens and visitors of Camden County. Camden County Fire Rescue is pleased to announce Firefighter Jamie Marr was chosen as the 2021 Firefighter of the Year, Lieutenant Garrett Tanner was chosen as the 2021 Emergency Medical Service (EMS) of the Year, and Lieutenant Kevin Petrine was chosen as the 2021 Fire Officer of the Year.

“As a community we are fortunate to have excellent firefighters serve Camden County,” said Camden County Fire Rescue Chief Terry Smith. “Throughout the department, the men and women of Camden County Fire Rescue are dedicated to their service for our community and it is demonstrated daily through their bravery and diligence.”

Firefighter Jamie Marr joined Camden County Fire Rescue in July 2013 and his nominations recognize his knowledge and passion for the fire service. Lt. Garrett Tanner joined Camden County Fire Rescue in September 2018 and his nominations mention his positive attitude and advocacy for his patients. Lt. Kevin Petrine joined Camden County Fire Rescue in March 2009 and his nominations highlight the excellent example he provides to firefighters and EMS.

These awards were determined through nominations from Camden County Fire Rescue staff.
