East Georgia State College (EGSC) hosted its annual Homecoming Week February 21-26, 2022. During halftime of the EGSC men’s basketball game on Saturday, the homecoming representatives were recognized. Hilarie Jackson was named the 2022 EGSC Homecoming Queen. Nia Lawrence was named first runner-up, and Raven Mickens was named second runner-up. Ty Jackson was named the EGSC Homecoming King. Preston Crisp was named first runner-up, and Lavert Graham was named second runner-up.
Homecoming Queen Hilarie Jackson is a sophomore from Statesboro, Georgia. She is the daughter of Maurice and Kimberly Jackson. Hilarie is on the softball team at EGSC and plans to graduate with her associate of arts in elementary education in May. She will continue her education at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University to major in elementary education.
Homecoming King Ty Jackson is a sophomore EGSC baseball player from Jacksonville, Florida. His parents are Corey and Katrina Jackson. After graduating in May, he will continue his education at Florida Agricultural and Mechanical University while playing baseball. He plans to pursue a degree in communications.
