House Rural Development Council to Hold Meetings in Statesboro

ATLANTA – The House Rural Development Council, co-chaired by State Representatives Gerald Greene (R–Cuthbert) and Mack Jackson (D-Sandersville), will hold its next series of council meetings on Wednesday, October 25 – Thursday, October 26, 2023, at Georgia Southern University in Statesboro.
The meeting schedule is as follows:
Wednesday, October 25, 2023: 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.
Thursday, October 26, 2023: 9 – 11 a.m.
The House Rural Development Council was first created in 2017 to work with rural communities to find ways to encourage economic growth and job creation. During the 2023 legislative session, the council was renewed for the current term through the unanimous adoption of House Resolution 488.
