State Legislators to Hold Meeting Tuesday on Biolab Chemical Fire

Members of the House and Senate Rockdale County Legislative Delegations, members of the House Minority Caucus and members of the DeKalb County Legislative Delegation will hold a meeting to hear from citizens, business owners, employees and others impacted by the Biolab chemical fire TOMORROW, Tuesday, October 8, 2024, at 10 a.m. in room 606 of the Coverdell Legislative Office Building.

“This is a terrifying time for the citizens of Rockdale County, and because we know the impact is now regional, we must focus on the impact of the chemicals as it pertains to the environment and health of citizens,” said Rep. Rhonda Taylor (D-Conyers), chair of the Rockdale County House Legislative Delegation.

“We want to hear from anyone along the east corridor about how this incident has affected their lives and how we may be able to help.”

“We are ready to hear the concerns from the citizens of Rockdale County,” said State Senator Tonya Anderson (D-Lithonia).
