Congressman Barry Loudermilk of Georgia’s 11th Congressional District received a score of 100% on a recent report card by the American Conservative Union Foundation.
Since 1971, the ACUF has reviewed every policy area and scored members of Congress’ voting records, based on their adherence to the organization’s definition of ‘conservative principles.’ Today, they score every lawmaker at the state and federal levels and present awards to those who score 80% or better in recognition of their conservative voting records.
To date, Rep. Loudermilk has a lifetime rating of 95.5%.
Loudermilk issued the following statement after he received the rating for his excellent conservative voting record in Congress in 2020:
“As a man of faith, husband, father, grandfather, veteran, small business owner, and a member of Congress, my conservative principles guide me in every facet of my life. They are not something I only think about when I pull out my voting card; they are a way of life...I want to thank the ACU for advocating for our conservative principles and for holding lawmakers accountable, as well as for this kind recognition.”
