GS Women’s Tennis Offers Weekly Clinics for the Community This Fall

The 2021 Sun Belt Conference Champion Georgia Southern University women’s tennis team and Head Coach Sean McCaffrey are excited to offer weekly clinics this fall beginning on August 31st.

The series of clinics will allow the local community to come and learn the great game of tennis from Eagle student-athletes and Coach McCaffrey. The weekly sessions, which will be held at the Wallis Tennis Courts on the Georgia Southern campus, are guaranteed to help improve every facet of your game!

Tuesday afternoons from 4:30-6:00 p.m. will be the Junior Clinic. This Junior clinic is open to anyone in grades Kindergarten all the way up to, and including, 12th grade. Any skill level is welcome. The Junior Clinic is limited to the first 24 participants to sign up, and participants must RSVP in advance!

Adult Clinics will be held on Tuesday evenings from 6-7:30 p.m. Again, these clinics are open to all levels and abilities and the Adult Clinic is geared towards those seeking to improve their skills in a competitive manor. We will cover shot selection, technical work, doubles drills and point development.  The second half of the clinic will be devoted to competitive play with on-court coaching.

Details are below. For more questions, or to sign up, please contact Head Coach Sean McCaffrey at 912-341-9400 (phone) or smccaffrey@georgiasouthern.edu (email).
