The entire Georgia Congressional delegation united Wednesday in congratulating the Atlanta Braves for winning the 2021 Major League Baseball World Series.
Sen. Ossoff introduced a U.S. Senate resolution to honor the Braves, who defeated the Houston Astros last night to win the World Series four games to two, their first World Series title since 1995.
The resolution also honors Braves legend Hank Aaron, who passed away earlier this year.
Reps. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA-11) and Nikema Williams (D-GA-05) introduced the resolution in the House of Representatives.
The resolution was co-sponsored by the rest of the Georgia Congressional Delegation: Senator Raphael Warnock and Reps. Buddy Carter (R-GA-01), Sanford Bishop (D-GA-02), Drew Ferguson (R-GA-03), Hank Johnson (D-GA-04), Lucy McBath (GA-06), Carolyn Bourdeaux (D-GA-07), Austin Scott (R-GA-08), Andrew Clyde (R-GA-09), Jody Hice (R-GA-10), Rick Allen (R-GA-12), David Scott (D-GA-13), and Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-GA-14).
