Rome City Schools 2022 Return to Class Plan

Due to the latest COVID-19 variant, as well as increased flu and stomach virus cases, Rome City Schools will require masks for all faculty, staff and students upon return. This mask mandate will be effective for the week of January 3, 2022. While RCS is requiring masks for the first week back, RCS remains in Phase 1 of the COVID-19 three-phase plan. RCS will continue to monitor the situation and provide updates.

RCS will follow the latest CDC guidelines. For more information on the most recent guidance, please access this link.

Anyone interested in COVID-19 vaccines for those five years and older, appointments can be made by contacting the Atrium Health Floyd Call Center.

Or those interested in receiving the vaccine can contact the Department of Public Health.
