Camden County Selected as Location Finalist Candidate for Space Industry-Related Company

2021 is off to a great start for Camden County! A space company has selected Camden County as a location finalist candidate for their proposed project, Project Osprey. This project includes building headquarters, manufacturing and operations, and there are opportunities for more than 200 high paying, high-tech jobs for rural Georgians with an average salary of $80,000 to $100,000.

This company will bring over $40 million in capital investment. Also, future launch operations would occur from Spaceport Camden, resulting in benefited research and education opportunities for schools and institutions as a product of this company’s presence.
