WHAT: Weather permitting, Georgia Department of Transportation construction partners will close interstate lanes. The closures are necessary for tree removal and widening activities for I-16, work on the new I-16/I-95 Interchange bridges, and placement of barrier walls.

Holiday work restrictions will be in place beginning Friday, September 3, 2021 at 12 p.m. until Tuesday, September 7, 2021 at 5 a.m. No lane closures or work that restricts or interferes with traffic will be conducted during this timeframe.
