Canoochee EMC Board of Directors Announces Rate Rebate for 2023
The Canoochee EMC Board of Directors has announced a rate rebate of nearly $0.03 per dollar of revenue to each active account for January through August 2023. This one-time rate reduction equals approximately $1 Million, or $27 per member on average.
This one-time rate reduction is due to lower-than-expected power costs for 2023. The Canoochee EMC Board of Directors also recognizes the struggles that our members continue to face.
The Board members in a unanimous vote approved this one-time rate rebate which will be shown as a credit on your November utility bill.
